It is reached after a steady climb from Sapri, through paths of Mediterranean scrub and silent woods: a route that prepares you for the secluded atmosphere of the hamlet. <\/p><p>Small and discreet, Torraca surprises with the way it combines <strong>memory and vision<\/strong>. Its stone streets, houses leaning against each other, and dominant position over the valley testify to a long history of garrison and defense. Today it is owned by the municipality and is the subject of a restoration project. <\/p><p>But Torraca doesn&#8217;t live on the past alone: it was the <strong>first Italian municipality to adopt LED public lighting<\/strong>, becoming a symbol of sustainable innovation. According to tradition, <strong>San Fantino<\/strong>, the spiritual master of San Nilo, lived and worked here. The church is a simple hall with three apses (today only the central one remains), without a roof, immersed in greenery and charged with a silent spirituality.<br> It is located on private property, but is <strong>freely visitable<\/strong> thanks to the availability of the owners, who have been carefully preserving it for years.
