The path leading to Rofrano makes its way through rural areas, deep silences, and landscape openings that invite contemplation. This is no coincidence: according to tradition, St. Nilus was welcomed and guided by the community of Rofrano on his journey to Grottaferrata, where he founded the famous abbey. This memory is still alive in the celebrations and oral stories passed down in the village.  <\/p><p>Rofrano preserves <strong>evident traces of Byzantine spirituality<\/strong> in its place names, places of worship, and the very structure of the historic center.
