However, to fully enjoy it, it&#8217;s important to be prepared and know the possibilities offered along the route.<\/p><h3>Where to Pitch your Tent<\/h3><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">An essential resource for planning your camping journey along the Cammino di San Nilo is the printed guidebook <em>\u201cIl Cammino di San Nilo.\u201d<\/em><\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Along almost every stage of the route, there is at least one place where hikers can pitch a tent. Most of these are equipped camping areas with toilets and water access (marked on the map with a tent symbol). In some cases, local administrations also provide indoor communal spaces that can be used during bad weather or by large groups such as scouts.<\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">There are also agriturismi and small accommodations that welcome travelers with tents, sometimes even free of charge.
