There are experiences that resemble a journey. They do not start and end in a specific place, but continue within us, transforming into thoughts, insights, questions that keep us company long after we have put away our backpacks. Fa’ la cosa giusta! 2025 was one of these experiences.
Three intense days, lived among exchanges of ideas, intertwined stories, shared projects. An event that was not just a showcase, but a living space, a crossroads of people united by the same vision: a more conscious tourism, a journey that is much more than a simple trip, a way to rediscover the territory, relationships, and ourselves.
A Meeting of Paths, an Open Dialogue
Staying at our stand and observing the flow of people made us realize once again how alive the desire to travel slowly is. It was three days of intense exchanges, stories told with enthusiasm, eyes shining at the idea of setting out on a journey.
We spoke with trekking enthusiasts, with those approaching the experience of the journey for the first time, with those seeking something beyond the trip: a transformation, a way to find themselves in the slow rhythm of steps.
But the most valuable exchange was with those who, like us, were there to tell a journey, to promote a way of traveling that respects the territories, values communities, and goes beyond simply moving from point A to point B. We were not just exhibitors, we were a network, an intertwining of voices united by the same passion.
A “Bubble” of Shared Experiences
In these days, it was like being inside a bubble, a suspended space where time seemed to expand, marked not by hours, but by stories, meetings, ideas taking shape. Every conversation was a path opening before us: there were moments of intense discussion, questions that made us reflect, laughter born from the complicity of those who share the same passion.
We talked about the need to make the paths increasingly welcoming, so that those who set out can feel part of a living network, where every stage is a meeting, every place a home. We immersed ourselves in the deep meaning of the Jubilee 2025, questioning how it can be an opportunity to rediscover the spiritual dimension of the journey, one that goes beyond the route and becomes an inner transformation.
And then, we discussed the deep connection between walking and well-being, how the slow rhythm of steps can become healing, how traveling on foot can be a refuge and a strength for those facing challenges related to health, nutrition, physical and emotional recovery. And between one story and another, we realized that the common thread of everything was one: the sense of community.
Because, in the end, the journey is never solitary. Every step carries something from those who preceded us, every crossroads is an opportunity for meeting, every word exchanged along the way can change the perspective of an entire journey. And when the lights of the fair went out and we said goodbye, we knew that no farewell was truly final: we would meet again, sooner or later, on some path, continuing to walk together.
