There are places that deserve to be explored in person, but also narrated in the right way. The Cammino di San Nilo is one of these: an itinerary that crosses Cilento, through nature, history, and spirituality.
From Sunday, February 2nd, and for two weeks, the Path will be featured on La7 with a dedicated commercial, broadcast during the network’s flagship programs. An opportunity to introduce this route to a wider audience, inviting new wanderers to set out on the journey.
From TV to Trails: an Invitation to Depart
The commercial will air at various times throughout the day, inserted between the most-watched programs of the schedule: Omnibus, L’Aria che Tira, Otto e Mezzo, Di Martedì, Una giornata particolare, Propaganda Live, Piazza Pulita and In altre parole.
A journey told through images, capable of conveying in just a few seconds the atmosphere of this route: the cobblestone streets of villages, paths immersed in greenery, churches and monasteries that preserve centuries of history, up to the sea of Palinuro, which marks the final destination.
A Strategic Action to Grow the Path
The choice to bring Cammino di San Nilo to La7 is part of a successfully initiated enhancement process. The network, attentive to culture and in-depth analysis, is the ideal context to reach an audience sensitive to the themes of slow travel and rediscovery of the territory.
“We want the Path to become a reference point for those seeking an authentic experience” – explains Vincenzo Speranza, President of the Mountain Community Bussento – Lambro and Mingardo. “The commercial on La7 is another important step in this direction.“
A Journey to Experience During the 2025 Jubilee
The Jubilee has already begun, and with it, an extraordinary opportunity has opened for those who choose to travel the Cammino di San Nilo. More and more pilgrims are rediscovering this itinerary as a profound experience, where the journey becomes a moment of growth, reflection, and connection with the territory.
Thanks to the ongoing promotional campaign, more and more people are discovering the Path and its potential. This week on TV could be the beginning of a journey for many new walkers.
A Legacy that Lives on in Cammino Di San Nilo
He left no riches or relics. St. Nilus left a path.
You don’t have to be a trekking expert to tackle it. Sometimes, the desire to depart is enough.
If you love adventure, you’ll find trails that cross mountains and timeless villages.
If you seek peace and reflection, the silence of a hermitage or the light of sunset on a path will be your answer.
If you want to rediscover the past, you’ll walk on the same roads that St. Nilus traveled centuries ago.
Today, those who choose the Cammino di San Nilo are not just crossing breathtaking landscapes among mountains, forests, and the Cilento sea. They are experiencing a transformative journey.
It’s not a journey just for believers. It’s a path for anyone who feels within themselves the need to depart, to seek, to find answers that are not found in books or speeches, but in the slow pace, in the breath that becomes one with nature, in the gaze that gets lost beyond the horizon.
A path open to all. An experience that changes you forever. It doesn’t matter with what motivation you start. What matters is what you’ll carry with you at the end. The truth is not in the destination, but in the journey.
