The Golfotrek Association – FIE – Redevelops Area in Sapri

The community of Sapri continues to show great attention towards Cammino di San Nilo.
This time it’s the FIE (Italian Hiking Federation), which during its Federal Council held in Sapri on Saturday, October 21 and Sunday, October 22, 2023, inaugurated the second milestone at km 1.7 in an “area reclaimed thanks to the” “commitment and will of the” affiliated Association GolfoTrek. The “area, in fact, which represents the exit from the inhabited center of Sapri and accompanies hikers towards the Brizzi stream and the beginning of the Pisacane trail, has been returned to the” use of citizens and tourists thanks to the utilization of funds made available by FIE through its Environment Grant.

A beautiful story of civic participation and urban regeneration that we hope can be replicated in other stages of the Path of San Nilo.
