The Treasure Peninsula: Here’s the Byzantine Cilento with Cammino di San Nilo

A new way to discover and enhance the territory: this is the proposal of the Italian Touring Club for the return of the historic initiative “The Peninsula of Treasure,” which for over twenty years has been taking citizens and tourists to discover lesser-known Italy, with a new focus dedicated to walking routes to invite people to experience a walking journey throughout Italy on Saturday, June 11 and Sunday, June 12. On these two days, all regions of Italy will simultaneously host events along the chosen path to invite residents and tourists to experience and appreciate the routes themselves, open to all ages and suitable for all “legs” with the aim of emphasizing how each path can be enjoyed by a wide audience, starting with families with children and not just by trained athletes.
