Cammino di San Nilo takes us to the heart of the Italo-Greek Cilento to discover the figure of Saint Nilus, hermit and amanuensis, focusing on the places that witnessed his donning of the “monastic habit and the” beginning of his spiritual adventure, after he was drawn by a great and insatiable desire for solitude. This is a journey that pilgrims and walkers have been rediscovering for a few years. A path that immerses itself in extraordinary natural scenery, from the mountains to the sea, from Sapri to Palinuro, touching evocative places – such as the so-called Venus’ Hair, a jewel of the Cilento National Park – and visiting the places traveled by the saint on his journey to the Monastery of San Nazario. It’s also a journey into the traditions of these places linked to the path, including culinary ones.
