Robert Louis Stevenson would have been enthusiastic about the initiative ‘The Treasure Peninsula’. He was a traveler-writer who, on foot and on donkey-back, sought culture and a healthy climate to find inspiration for his novels and mildness for his health. In Italy, had he lived a century and a half later, he would have found many roads to travel along with the Touring Club Italiano, the institution that promotes access to the most evocative places and routes in our territory.
Scheduled for today and tomorrow, it aims to put Italians on the trail of exciting findings and rediscoveries through twenty routes in as many regions, enlivened by special events organized for this occasion.
