The “addition of ‘Vetere’ distinguishes it from the” homonymous town in the Vallo di Diano, and emphasizes its antiquity.
The origins of the village are medieval, but the “current urban layout preserves the” imprint of an agricultural and pastoral village, tied to the rhythms of the land and the seasons.
